The cards show pictures of items sitting on a simple balance scale to help students compare the weight of the objects. The balances do not have any measurements.
Your students will look at the pictures on the scales and choose which is heavier/lighter.
To assist your less confident readers the borders of the cards are color coded for heavier (blue) & lighter (purple).
