Read & Spell CVCC Words with Short Vowel Sounds Large Print Mats for students with autism and special education needs.
50 mats + 200 letter cards
There are 10 words for each of the 5 short vowels - a, e, i, o & u
The mats & cards are color coded for easier classroom organization eg the a mats are green, and e mats are pink.
Your students will decode each word to read it and then rearrange the letter cards to spell the word below.
The letters are stored at the bottom of each mat. You will require velcro dots to prepare this activity.
These mats can be used as an independent task or 1-to-1 for direct instruction.
